Timewell doesn’t collect, store or share any of your personal data. There’s no account, no ads, no analytics and no server. Everything you create in the app stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
To show your history and stats, Timewell saves your sessions (when each one started and ended, how long you planned it for, the time zone it started in, and its category if you chose one), the categories you create, and your settings. This is stored only in the app’s storage on your device, where Timewell’s widgets and its Lock Screen and Dynamic Island countdown read it too.
We can’t see this information and it’s never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it. It may be included in your device backups, which follow your backup settings and Apple’s privacy policy.
What we don’t collect
Timewell makes no network connections of its own. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and no third-party code. We don’t collect identifiers, location, contacts, usage data or diagnostics, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Notifications, Siri and Shortcuts
The alert at the end of a session is scheduled on your iPhone; no notification server is involved. So that Siri and Shortcuts recognize your categories, their names are added to your iPhone’s on-device search index. If you use Siri or Shortcuts with Timewell, Apple handles those requests under its own privacy policy, and the app receives only what it needs to do the action, such as a session length.
Crash reports
If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us crash reports and basic diagnostics. They don’t identify you, and we use them only to fix problems. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
When you email us
If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. An email started from the app’s Contact Support button already includes the app and iOS versions, which you can see and remove before sending. We use your email only to reply and to improve the app, never for marketing, and we don’t share it. We’ll delete our conversation with you whenever you ask.
The App Store and this website
Downloads and updates come through the App Store, which Apple runs under its own privacy policy.
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party content. It’s hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Children
Timewell collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version handles data differently, for example by syncing through your private iCloud account, we’ll update this page before that version is released and change the date above.
Contact
Timewell is published under the name OddVolume by an independent developer in Türkiye, who is named as the seller on its App Store listing and is responsible for this policy. Questions about privacy are welcome at timewell@oddvolume.app.
